Save the Montrose Sink-Hole??? (When preservation movements run amuck)

Who would have ever thought that there would be a movement to preserve a sink-hole. Well, there is.

Below is a picture of the giant sink-hole that appeared about a week ago on Montrose street (taken by theerielly).

Since then, the sinkhole has somehow 'created' a myspace page and has developed a loyal following who claim to be 'fighting' for its preservation.

Granted, it is mostly a joke, but you know someone somewhere is taking it seriously.

So here are a couple of pictures of my niece, the most photogenic of the bunch. Her 'opening presents philosophy' was basically that she was to open all presents, regardless of who they were for, which led to a few quizzical looks when 'she' received things like flatware and infused olive oil.
