As I was walking to the 'el' this morning I walked past my favorite liquor store (okay, the last thing I bought there was a dozen eggs, but I digress) and I noticed a sign in the window announcing that they are now selling the aforementioned beer. However, when I went in this afternoon to buy a six-pack, I couldn't find it. I asked the guy behind the counter and he laughed and said incredulously "we sold out in one day, on a Tuesday, do you believe it". And to think, I was almost ready to forgive them for also selling that odious plague on humanity that isn't fit to be used as toilet paper for a rat, The New York Post (which they also started selling not to long ago for some inexplicable reason). I'll forgive them when I can get a six pack of Brooklyn goodness in my grubby paws, but not a moment before.

Brooklyn Brewery Beer hits the midwest
